Another batch of Starlink satellites was launched from Cape Canaveral Florida on Saturday and you could see the rockets as far as Long Island.
This was the fourth launch and landing of this Falcon 9 booster. It previously launched three Starlink Earth observation missions. SpaceX, on September 25 launched 43 more Starlink nanosatellites into orbit. The Falcon 9 lifted off from Cape Canaveral, Florida at 5:01 am EST (August 19, 2:01 am IST) and approximately 9 minutes later the first stage made a landing on a drone ship in the Atlantic Ocean. The Falcon 9’s first stage was seen by spectators near the launchpad as it descended once again to Earth and made a soft touchdown atop the SpaceX “drone ship” A Shortfall of Gravitas, which were stationed in the Atlantic Ocean. The launch status of the six satellites was made public just over 15 minutes after the launch. The video shows the first stage touching down on the drone ship at approximately 11:20 p.m. EST
